A hacker stole the credit carte du jour details of over 800 members of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical together with Electronics Engineers) final December, according to its police line firm.
A squad of IEEE-appointed forensic investigators “concluded that a file containing client credit carte du jour data had been deleted on or most Nov 17, 2010”, the institute's police line theater told the Attorney General of New Hampshire inwards Feb [pdf].
The forensic squad believed that 828 members’ credit carte du jour numbers, associated names, expiration dates together with safety numbers may bring been accessed.
